Hello and welcome to la-di-da Nubians and Lamanchas.We are located in Western Washington State. We are the dairy part of My Time Farm. My husband Justin and myself raise, breed and show Nubians, Lamanchas and Boer goats. The goats are a new venture for me. I am a ex horse person with 30 plus years in the horse industry. In 2008 I got out of the horses and started looking for something else. Through my husband I got into the goats. I purchased the majority of my foundation animals from Mojave Farms in Campo, Ca. I found there animals really appealed to me in looks and soundness. I also found them to be great to work with and very patient with a beginner who had a lot of questions. We test annually for CAE and CL. Usually in groups, 30 days before kidding. Anything under 10 months of age will not have been tested yet as it is generally believed they are to young to get a accurate result. Copys of test results are available on request with purchase. My personal focus would be on my does. I believe they are the back bone of any breeding program. They must milk, have a good disposition and show competitively.
